About the event
CUT-YOUR-OWN Sunflowers
Admission included with your ticket.
A jar & scissors will be provided by our staff upon entry to fill with your own carefully chosen 5 sunflowers to take home and enjoy for days.
A field worker will point you to a specially marked area to Cut-Your-Own sunflowers.
HOW TO CUT Sunflowers
To cut, hold the stem and cut to your desired length. Bundle with the elastic towards the top of the bundle to keep the flowers together.
SUNFLOWER HOME CARE
Keep your freshly-cut sunflowers in water, and be sure to trim the ends when you get home and change the water daily - the sunflowers should last for about a week.
When choosing sunflowers choose the smaller younger ones as the more mature flowers loose their petals quickly and are more fragile.
